We are proud to announce Doug Bettinger, Chief Financial Officer of Lam Research, as the Bay Area CFO of the Year Awards 2025 Hall of Fame Lifetime Achievement Award winner.
The 2025 Bay Area CFO of the Year Awards will be held at 6 PM on Thursday, September 18 at the Hyatt Regency Embarcadero Center San Francisco and will feature Doug accepting his award as well as winners in five other categories.
This event, presented by San Francisco Business Times in partnership with Larkin Street Youth Services, has raised more than $8 million for Larkin Street Youth Services, supporting youth experiencing homelessness by offering an award-winning model of housing, education, employment, and health services.
The Hall of Fame Lifetime Achievement Award is given to a current or former CFO of a public or private company whose contribution has significantly and uniquely impacted the greater Bay Area business community over the course of his or her career.

Douglas R. Bettinger is executive vice president, and chief financial officer at Lam Research, with responsibility for overseeing the company’s finance, tax, treasury, investor relations and corporate analytics. Prior to joining Lam, Doug served as senior vice president and chief financial officer of Avago Technologies Ltd. and held a variety of executive finance positions with Xilinx, Inc., 24/7 Customer, and Intel Corp.
He earned his M.B.A. in finance from the University of Michigan, and his B.S. degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
