Top Bay Area CFOs Honored and Over $560,000 Raised to Help Larkin Street Youth Services and Homeless Youth
On June 10th finalists were celebrated and winners announced at the Tenth Annual Bay Area CFO of the Year Awards. Held at the Westin St. Francis, San Francisco, the event was attended by over 500 business leaders and executives that gathered to network, celebrate, and congratulate the Lifetime Achievement winner, Patrick Pichette, Advisor and former Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, Google, and CFOs of the Year in six categories.
Now in its tenth year, the sold-out awards dinner is a premier networking event and has raised over $4.3MM to benefit local non-profit, Larkin Street Youth Services. All proceeds benefit homeless and at-risk youth, ages 12-24, served by Larkin Street, the leading nonprofit in San Francisco helping youth gain independence by offering an innovative and award-winning model of housing, education, employment, and health services. The funds raised help Larkin Street as they deepen and expand programs to provide more youth with counseling, services, and increase the number who get college degrees and move into sustainable careers.
“I’m honored to be chosen as this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award winner, and am thrilled to be raising money for Larkin Street,” said Patrick Pichette, Lifetime Achievement Awardee. “Google is a one-of-a-kind workplace and it’s been an enormous privilege to work there. Over the last 30 years, I’ve been blessed to have had incredible career opportunities, and to have worked with amazing people. Their achievements have inspired me every day.”
