Jared Leiderman joined the Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation in 2015 as its first full-time head of finance and operations and member of the operating committee. The DRK Foundation is a global venture philanthropy firm that finds, funds, and supports early stage impact-focused organizations globally. Prior to joining DRK, Jared was the Chief Financial Officer at Juma Ventures, where he helped lead the national expansion of the award-winning job training and college access program. As a mediator and facilitator, Jared has advised the Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, trained new mediators at Harvard Law School, and facilitated post-conflict reconciliation efforts in northern Uganda. He received his MBA from Harvard Business School and MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, where he was a Reynolds Foundation Social Entrepreneurship Fellow and a Bill George Public Service Fellow. Jared received his Bachelor of Arts with High Honors from Swarthmore College and lives in Berkeley, CA with his wife, Emily, and two fabulous children.
