John R. Rettig is Chief Financial Officer of BILL, Inc. He brings more than 20 years of strategic finance and operational leadership experience in both private and public companies to the Company. His specialties include transactional expertise (financing, M&A), financial planning and analytics, scaling operations and systems infrastructure, and global expansion. Prior to his nearly nine years serving as BILL’s CFO and Executive Vice President of Finance and Operations, Rettig most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer of Exponential Interactive, Inc., an advertising intelligence and digital media solutions company, where he was responsible for the global finance function. Previously, Rettig served in senior finance roles at high growth companies in the ecommerce, software, and Internet spaces, including Reflect.com, Achieva.com/Kaplan, Inc., and E-Global Network, Inc. He also served as Senior Director of Finance for Excite@ Home, the broadband access and Internet portal created by the $6.7B merger of @Home and Excite, Inc. Rettig holds a B.S. in Economics and Business Administration from Saint Mary’s College of California.
