Ken Miller is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Juniper Networks. In this role, he leads the company’s global finance and accounting functions as well as supply chain operations, and real estate. He has held this position since February 2016. In his six-year tenure, Miller has been instrumental in leading Juniper through its transformation to return to growth and focus on monetizing its software. This leadership has included integrating several acquisitions, including Mist Systems, Apstra and 128T. In addition, he has managed supply chain issues during the COVID-19 pandemic. During his tenure, the company has generated over $5 billion in operating cash flow. Miller consistently earns some of the highest employee engagement scores on the company’s annual survey due to his commitment and passion for creating a great work culture. 

Prior to his current position, Miller was Senior Vice President of Finance, responsible for Juniper’s financial planning and partnering functions as well as the tax, treasury and global business services organizations. His team was responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s operating plan and capital return strategy. 

Miller joined Juniper in 1999 and was a key contributor in transforming Juniper’s accounting and finance teams from ‘start-up mode’ to a team that supports a multi-billion-dollar business. He has spent much of his career with Juniper and gained deep experience through multiple roles, including in Accounting, Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis, Business Unit Finance and Go-to-Market Finance. Prior to joining Juniper, Miller worked as Audit Manager at Ernst & Young.  

Miller enjoys spending his free time golfing or boating with his wife and three sons. He also dedicates time to his sons’ schools, his church and youth athletics.  

He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Santa Clara University and is a California CPA (inactive).
