Patrick Carney – Clase Azul Spirits

Patrick Carney

Non-Public Company

Patrick Carney joined Clase Azul in 2015 and is responsible for general financial strategy including overseeing the treasury, financial analysis, capital arrangements and tax planning of Clase Azul and its importing arm. Carney has been instrumental in raising capital to support Clase Azul’s sustained growth as well as helping to manage tax and estate planning for Company ownership. With 50 people on his teams, Carney has a management style that is very hands on and likes to get involved, teach and then stand back and let people grow within their roles. One of the traits he likes to instill in his team is not losing sight of the entrepreneurial spirit that helped grow the Company into what it is today and trying to differentiate from the larger Conglomerate owned companies that Clase Azul competes with.

Prior to Clase Azul, Carney was CFO of a PE owned clothing company in Modesto where he oversaw all finance operations. He has also had senior finance positions at Visa and CEMEX in Monterey Mexico.

A native of San Francisco, Carney holds a BA from Loyola Marymount University and an MBA from University of San Francisco.
